DJ McKinney News: Rushes for seventh touchdown

McKinney totaled four carries for 46 yards and a touchdown and caught 1 of 2 targets for one yard during Friday's 23-17 overtime win over San Diego State.

Nearly all of McKinney's production came early in the fourth quarter, when he broke off a 54-yard touchdown run that put New Mexico ahead 17-14. While the sophomore McKinney didn't see consistent volume during the regular season, he had a nose for the end zone, leading the Lobos with seven rushing scores while totaling 454 yards on 109 carries.
