James Laubstein News: Leading rusher vs. SDSU
Laubstein had 10 rushes for 70 yards with a touchdown in Friday's 23-17 overtime win over San Diego State.
While Laubstein failed to supplant Jack Layne as the Lobos' starting quarterback this season, the senior has made an impact as a rushing threat down the stretch, totaling 213 rushing yards on 26 attempts in his last three contests. Laubstein appeared in eight games in the regular season, completing 10 of 14 pass attempts for 96 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 306 yards on 44 carries.
