Jalen Bracey

Bracey was a safety valve of a receiving option in 2022. He had 39 catches, but they went for a mere 294 yards and two touchdowns. That’s 7.5 yards per reception, which is not exciting. Now, the top two players in terms of receiving yards, and the players who were first and third in receptions, are not going to be around in 2023. Bracey was second in catches, and the same quarterbacks are back for this season. Could Bracey be the top guy in terms of targets and catches this year? Sure, and it may even be plausible. That being said, from a fantasy perspective, it’s hard to be enthusiastic about a safety-valve receiver. Even if Bracey gets up to 60 receptions, a likely ceiling for him, at 7.5 yards per catch that would mean 450 yards. It’s hard to buy into an offense that was bad last season and is bringing back basically the same squad to see how it turns out this time. Read Past Outlooks
