Losing streak hits three

Parisian lost to Robelis Despaigne via TKO (punches) at 0:18 of Round 1 at UFC 299 on Saturday in Miami.
ANALYSIS
Well, Parisian certainly looked the part of a +300 underdog, second-largest on the entire card. The debuting Despaigne fell down after throwing an early kick attempt and that prompted Parisian to rush forward in hopes of damaging his opponent. He was greeted with a massive right hand to the face for his efforts, and the fight was over just seconds later. Now 34 years of age, Parisian has lost three in a row and four of five dating back to December 2021.

Struggles continue in Vegas

Parisian lost to Martin Buday via submission (kimura) at 4:11 of Round 1 at UFC on ESPN 51 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
If Parisian wasn't going to win, it would have been nice to see him remain competitive, but he couldn't even manage that. Josh ate some power shots from Buday right off the hop and didn't handle them well. He eventually conceded a takedown while still clearly hurting before getting caught along the fence and leaving his arm exposed. The loser of back-to-back fights, Parisian is now sporting a 2-4 record in his first half-dozen bouts with the UFC, with the victories coming over Alan Baudot and Roque Martinez. The 34-year-old Michigan native is just about out of time.
