Gordon (hip) is a doubt for Sunday's clash against Brentford, coach Eddie Howe said in the press conference. "We don't think it's a serious injury. We're going to get him scanned an we're awaiting the results. There's every chance he might miss out on Sunday but we'll give him every opportunity to be fit."

Gordon still has to undergo scans for his recurrent hip injury and is a doubt for Sunday's clash against Brentford. The issue doesn't appear to be serious and the medical staff will give him every opportunity to be fit to face the Bees. That said, if he ultimately can't make the match squad, Harvey Barnes or Anthony Elanga could be in line to replace him in the starting XI. Of note, Gordon made the cal for England ahead of next week's World Cup qualifiers.
