Philipp Sander News: Finally on goal board for season

Sander scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and two crosses (one accurate) in Saturday's 3-1 win versus 1. FC Köln.

Sander has been a regular fixture of Monchengladbach's 2025-26 team, with eight of his nine appearances being starts. However, by consistently playing a defensive role, he has not been a goal-scoring threat in any sense. Yet, Sander still managed to produce nine shots, with five of them on target. The fifth effort finally earned him his first goal of the season.
