Corbeanu's purchase option in his loan was activated by Toronto, the club announced.

Corbeanu joined Toronto from Spanish side Granada for the 2025 MLS season and contributed decently with six goals and two assists in 32 appearances. The striker was an undisputed starter in the frontline and is expected to reclaim that role heading into the 2026 season after the club activated the purchase option in his loan to keep him permanently.
