McKinney had a solid freshman year with the Bearkats, dashing for 481 yards and three touchdowns on 5.0 yards-per-carry. He also caught 12 passes for 99 yards. Now, he'll take his talents to the Lobos, where he should have three seasons of eligibility remaining and should compete for carries immediately.
