Andy Welinski News: Falls short of roster

Welinski did not make the Devils' roster announced Monday, James Nichols of New Jersey Hockey Now reports.

Welinski remains a free agent after failing to earn a contract during training camp. The 31-year-old defenseman is likely to receive an AHL-only deal or a two-way contract at best, and he can sign with any organization.
