Joel Nystrom News: Loaned to AHL affiliate

Nystrom was assigned to AHL Chicago on Monday.

Nystrom produced six goals and 27 points in 51 regular-season games for Farjestad BK of the SHL in 2024-25 before adding one assist in six playoff outings. The Hurricanes selected the 22-year-old defender in the seventh round, 219th overall, of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
