Leon Muggli News: Loaned to Swiss team

Muggli was loaned to EV Zug of Switzerland's National League on Tuesday.

Muggli notched three goals and 12 points in 42 regular-season contests for EV Zug in 2023-24. He added one goal and one assist in 11 playoff outings. The Capitals selected the 18-year-old defender with the No. 52 overall pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. Muggli signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Washington on July 10.
