Adriano Marrero News: Dealt to Dodgers

Marrero was traded from the Marlins to the Dodgers on Monday in exchange for Esteury Ruiz, Francys Romero of BeisbolFR.com reports.

The 6-foot-3 Marrero made 10 starts in the Dominican Summer League in 2025 during his pro debut, posting a 3.82 ERA and 1.33 WHIP with 35 strikeouts over 33.0 innings. He turned 18 in September and sports a high-spin slider. The young righty's fastball lacks notable velocity at this stage, but he has a projectable frame and should eventually be sitting in the low-to-mid-90s.
