Aneurys Zabala News: Lands MiLB deal with Angels

The Angels signed Zabala to a minor-league contract Wednesday, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

Zabala spent the past two seasons in Japan with the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. The right-handed reliever's lone big-league experience came in 2022, when he made two scoreless appearances for the Marlins. Zabala is likely to begin the 2026 season in the bullpen at Triple-A Salt Lake.
