Christian Roa News: Sent down Monday

Roa was optioned to Triple-A Jacksonville on Monday, per the MLB's official transaction log.

Roa will return to Triple-A after being called up Saturday, tossing one scoreless inning, while walking two batters in Sunday's 2-0 loss to the Tigers. The move made room for Tyler Phillips (personal) to return to the 28-man roster after spending a couple days on the paternity list.
