Jordan Walker Injury: Kicking off rehab stint Saturday

Walker (appendicitis) will start a rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis on Saturday, Daniel Guerrero of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Walker isn't eligible to come off the 10-day injured list until next Wednesday, so he'll presumably play in at least a couple games for Memphis prior to being activated. Once he rejoins the Cardinals, Walker will likely occupy the short side of a platoon in right field.
