Jorge Alcala News: Officially non-tendered by Cards

St. Louis non-tendered Alcala on Friday.

Alcala was DFA'd by the Cardinals on Tuesday, and he'll officially enter free agency after being non-tendered by the organization. He appeared in 56 regular-season games between the Red Sox, Twins and Cardinals during the 2025 season and posted five holds, a 6.22 ERA, 1.75 WHIP and 61:30 K:BB across 55 innings.
