Taylor Trammell Injury: Lands on IL with calf strain

The Astros placed Trammell (calf) on the 10-day injured list Thursday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Trammell suffered a right calf strain Feb. 21 while running the bases and doesn't appear close to returning. He could be a candidate to eventually shift to the 60-day IL.
