Zach Pop News: Gets MLB deal from Phillies

The Phillies signed Pop to a one-year contract Monday.

Pop has really struggled over his last three seasons during his time in the majors, collecting a 6.68 ERA and 50:27 K:BB over 68.2 innings. He had a 3.56 ERA in his two big-league seasons prior to that, however, and also boasts a career 54 percent groundball rate. Pop does not have minor-league options remaining.
