Bobby Portis News: Shifting to bench

Portis will be deployed off the bench Thursday against the Spurs.

Portis drew the start Tuesday in the absence of Myles Turner but will retreat to a bench role Thursday. Portis has provided a strong scoring boost as a reserve lately, averaging 14.4 points while knocking down 52.8 percent of his attempts from deep over his last eight games off the bench.
