Justin Champagnie News: Headed to bench

Champagnie will come off the bench in Thursday's preseason game against the Pistons.

Champagnie got a spot-start his last time out with the Wizards resting some key players, but he'll return to a minimal reserve role for Thursday's exhibition. Champagnie had a career year in Washington last season, averaging 8.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.2 three-pointers in 21.6 minutes per game across 62 regular-season appearances (31 starts).
