Rui Hachimura Injury: Could return Monday

Head coach JJ Redick said Friday that he has "a lot of optimism" that Hachimura (calf) will be cleared to play Monday against the Kings, Daniel Starkand of LakersNation.coml reports.

Hachimura appears to be in the final stages of his recovery from a right calf strain, which has prevented him from playing since Dec. 28 and will keep him out of a sixth consecutive game Friday versus the Bucks. He could operate under a minutes restriction upon his return, but his availability in any capacity would leave less playing time available for the likes of Jake LaRavia and Jarred Vanderbilt and could result in Dalton Knecht moving out of the rotation.
