Aneyas Williams News: Leads Irish in rushing

Williams topped the Notre Dame rushing group with 83 yards on 10 carries and two touchdowns in the Notre Dame 49-20 win over Stanford on Saturday.

The sophomore's night was his career best in a game. Williams collected 60 rushing yards on five carries in the second half and a touchdown against the Cardinal. With the game lopsided, Notre Dame didn't need a full load from their top runners, Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price against Stanford. Williams could very well compete for the top running back job next season or at the least getting a bigger share of the carries in 2026.
