Ayo Adeyi Injury: Sitting to preserve redshirt

Adeyi (undisclosed) won't play in Saturday's game against Coastal Carolina in order to preserve his redshirt, Catie Harper of the Daily News-Record Sports reports.

Adeyi has appeared in four games this season while tending to injury. Rather than playing in a fifth and burning a redshirt, he'll take a seat in Week 14. The running back can still play in the postseason, as those games do not count toward redshirt eligibility.
