Bear Bachmeier News: Efficient in Saturday's win

Bachmeier was 21-for-25 passing for 289 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 41-21 win against UCF. He also had nine rushes for four yards.

Bachmeier put together his most efficient outing of the season Saturday, completing 84 percent of his passes for 289 yards and a score. He was bottled up in the run game, but his passing and LJ Martin's rushing took care of business to earn the Cougars a spot in the Big 12 Championship Game. Bachmeier did not play well in the earlier meeting with Texas Tech, but perhaps things will be different on a neutral site and with a playoff bid on the line.
