Broc Lowry News: Utilized as QB1 in loss

Lowry was 10-for-16 passing for 78 yards during Saturday's 38-0 loss against Illinois. He also had seven rushes for 40 yards.

Lowry was utilized as the QB1 by the Broncos in the loss to the Fighting Illini, but he still struggled against the Big Ten powerhouse. The 6-foot-1 quarterback was unable to get things going in the passing game, throwing for just 78 yards. He was luckily able to burst out some rushes, but these weren't enough to keep Western Michigan in the game. It's unknown if him or Brady Jones will now start against Toledo next week.
