Lofton will transfer to Appalachian State, per his personal X account.

Lofton was dynamic at Gardner-Webb in 2025, reeling in 56 catches for 934 yards and five touchdowns. He'll now take his talents to the FBS level, where the wideout should have two seasons of eligibility remaining with the Mountaineers.
