David Wells News: Leads OSU receiving

Wells led the Oregon State receiving corps with 112 yards on nine catches in the 21-17 loss to Sam Houston State on Saturday.

It was quite a difference in a week for Wells. Against Washington State the redshirt sophomore had only one catch for zero yards. Also, it was the first time Wells had surpassed the century mark since Sept. 13 against Texas Tech (103 yards on six receptions). The Beavers take on Tulsa this Saturday (Nov. 15). The Golden Hurricane defense against the pass is in the bottom quarter in the nation.
