Demond Williams News: Contained in loss

Williams was 20-for-32 passing for 209 yards and three interceptions during Saturday's 24-7 defeat versus Michigan. He also had five rushes for -19 yards.

Williams' dual-threat capability was neutralized by the Wolverines. Williams had his worst rushing total of the season, and that regression also had a negative effect on his passing totals. Although Michigan's defensive results have been a mixed bag, they rose to the occasion after a bad loss to USC. Williams will try to bounce back against Illinois this weekend.
