Drew Mestemaker News: Officially hits portal

Mestemaker will enter the transfer portal, per Pete Thamel of ESPN.com.

Mestemaker was reported earlier in December to be expected to enter the portal, and now indeed, the nation's leading passer in both yards and touchdowns (4,379 and 34, respectively) will seek a new home. This is a massive transfer portal quarterback domino to fall, as he'll be among the most coveted names this winter as big-time programs look for their next starting signal-caller. The 6-foot-4, 211-pound Mestemaker has three years of eligibility remaining.
