Drew Mestemaker News: Playing against SDSU

Mestemaker will play Saturday against San Diego State, Haylie Stum of North Texas Daily reports.

Mestemaker is expected to enter the transfer portal once it opens on Jan. 2, but he'll play and lead North Texas in their final game of the 2025 season against SDSU first. Mestemaker will try to end his excellent campaign on a strong note. He tossed for a whopping 4,129 yards, 31 touchdowns and seven interceptions while completing over 70 percent of his passes, leading the FBS in passing by a wide margin.
