Dylan Lonergan Injury: Doesn't return Saturday

Lonergan (thumb) was 2-for-2 passing for eight yards before exiting Saturday's 34-12 win against Syracuse.

Lonergan's day ended shortly after it began, as he sustained a thumb injury on his throwing hand. Per Trevor Hass of The Boston Globe, head coach Bill O'Brien said Lonergan tried to return, but he couldn't grip the ball well enough to throw. With BC not bowl eligible Lonergan's 2025 season is over. He finishes with 2,017 yards and a 12:5 TD:INT while completing 66.7 percent of his passes.
