Eli Stowers Injury: May be on limited snap count

Stowers (undisclosed) is expected to start, but he may be on a limited snap count during Saturday's opener against Charleston Southern, Joey Dwyer of Sports Illustrated reports.

Stowers was spotted participating in pregame warmups, but his recent limitations in fall camp lead program insiders to believe he may have his workload limited. The 6-foot-4 graduate student is coming off a standout season with the Commodores in which he tallied 49 receptions for 638 yards and five touchdowns in 13 games. If Stowers isn't 100 percent, Vanderbilt might hesitate to deploy him every snap in what figures to be a lopsided game.
