Eli Stowers Injury: Out for bowl, off to draft

Stowers is out for Wednesday's bowl game with Iowa and will prepare for the 2026 NFL Draft, Pete Thamel of ESPN reports.

As one of college football's best tight ends in 2025, Stowers will take advantage of his status to prepare for the professional ranks. The tight end's Vanderbilt tenure saw one of the program's highest-ever peaks, and he played an integral role with 111 receptions for 1,407 yards and nine touchdowns over two seasons. For each year, including 2025, Stowers logged at least 600 receiving yards and four TDs.
