Ethan Hampton News: Signs with Southern Miss

Hampton has signed with Southern Miss, Pete Nakos of On3 reports.

Considering that Braylon Braxton maximized his collegiate eligibility, Southern Miss' quarterback room requires a new QB1 for 2026. Even though Hampton logged a statistically limited 2025, he has what it takes to be USM's primary QB. During 2024, as part of Northern Illinois, he logged 144 completed passes for 1,600 yards and 12 touchdowns.
