Girard Pringle News: Withdraws name from portal

Pringle is no longer entering the transfer portal, Hayes Fawcett of On3.com reports.

Just a day after announcing his intention to enter the transfer portal, Pringle withdrew his name and is set to return to the Hurricanes. It's unclear what changed his mind in the past 24 hours, but clearly he heard enough to convince him to stay. The freshman totaled 428 yards from scrimmage and scored five touchdowns across nine appearances this season, although a good chunk of that production came when Mark Fletcher was out.
