Greg Gaines News: Added to FIU's roster

Gaines is part of Florida International's 2026 roster, Kevin Barral of Sports Illustrated reports.

Gaines, a Florida native, will transfer colleges from Rhode Island. The question becomes whether or not his 2025 season indicates that he significantly improved. Though part of Iowa State for multiple seasons, he barely logged several receptions. Gaines subsequently transferred to URI, whose 2025 season includes his 1,018 receiving yards (15.7 averaged per reception) and four touchdowns.
