Israel Polk News: Two touchdowns in close loss
Polk logged four receptions (on six targets) for 99 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 31-28 defeat versus UAB.
Polk was very quiet in the Zips' first two games of the season (3-17-0), but he broke out in the close loss to the Blazers. The 6-foot-1 wide receiver showcased his big-play abilities, converting four catches into nearly 100 yards and two touchdowns. It's unknown if this performance was an anomaly, but he should still get plenty of chances to replicate it against Duquesne next week.
