Jackson Harper News: Personal best in blowout

Harper registered his career best on Saturday with 42 receiving yards on five receptions in the 59-13 win over Central Connecticut State.

The redshirt sophomore's day included a 19-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter. Before Saturday's contest, Harper only had one catch and played mainly on special teams last season. He was one of a dozen Huskies who caught passes. UConn takes on a tougher task in the next game Sept. 6 against Syracuse. The Orangemen pass defense was in the middle of the pack last season.
