Jaden Nixon News: Quiet as lead back

Nixon posted 15 carries for 32 yards and gathered in all three targets for negative one yard during Saturday's 48-9 loss to Texas Tech.

Nixon led the Knights' backfield Saturday with Myles Montgomery (should) out, but he was unable to get much going versus the elite Texas Tech defense. He had 18 touches out of the backfield, by far his most in a game this season, but only gained 31 yards from scrimmage. It was a disappointing first opportunity as the lead back. He faces a favorable matchup Saturday versus Oklahoma State where he has a chance to be productive regardless of Montgomery's availability.
