Jalen Macon News: Scores two rushing TDs in finale

Macon was 5-for-10 passing for 27 yards during Friday's 35-31 defeat to Kent State. He also had 17 rushes for 65 yards with two touchdowns.

Macon was barely utilized on the passing front in the close loss to the Flashes, but he did total 65 yards on the ground and punched in two scores. The 6-foot-5 quarterback started the last three games of the season, so he should have a good shot at the QB1 role next season with former starter Josh Holst hitting the transfer portal. Macon will close out his redshirt junior season with 105 passing yards and one touchdown, along with 45 rushes for 216 yards and five touchdowns.
