James Jones News: Joining New Mexico State
Jones has committed to New Mexico State, according to Nick Coppola of The Las Cruces Sun-News.
Jones had plenty of offers on the table, including programs such as Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Oklahoma State, Syracuse and Cincinnati, as well as UTEP. He decided to join NMSU, though, and he should compete for the RB1 role in his new program. He tallied 78 carries for 336 yards and one touchdown in 2025.
