James Laubstein Injury: Participating in practice

Laubstein (undisclosed) is participating in practice Tuesday and is pushing to play in Saturday's game against Air Force, Sean Reider of the Albuquerque Journal reports.

Laubstein missed New Mexico's previous contest due to an undisclosed injury. Head coach Jason Eck said Tuesday he wouldn't call Laubstein probable, but a return looks to be a legitimate possibility. If active, Laubstein would back up Jack Layne.
