Jaxon Potter News: More prolific in victory

Potter threw for 257 yards, completing 28-of-42 pass attempts for three touchdowns in Washington State's 36-13 win over San Diego State on Saturday.

The redshirt sophomore tripled his touchdown output in the second game of the season. Potter also had six yards rushing on three carries. The Cougars take on North Texas on Saturday, Sept. 13. North Texas is fourth in country on pass defense, but the Mean Green's opposition in the first two weeks has been weak. In 2024, North Texas's pass defense was near the bottom in the country.
