Jayden Maiava News: Comes up short against Irish

Maiava completed 22 of 42 passes for 328 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions during Saturday's 34-24 loss to Notre Dame.

Although Maiava's passing yardage was elite, he was far from mistake-free. He barely completed 50 percent of his passes and threw two picks in the loss, and it was arguably Maiava's worst showing of the season. The Trojans head into the bye week with several injuries throughout the roster, so the time off will give the team time to rest and regroup.
