Jeremiyah Love Injury: Heads to locker room

Love departed Saturday's game against Stanford and went back to the locker room after taking a knee to the midsection, Mike Berardino of the South Bend Tribune reports.

It's uncertain if it's a rib or abdomen injury for Love, but after a brief stop in the blue medical tent, he's headed back to the locker room for further evaluation. The star running back was replaced by Jadarian Price, who should see the bulk of the carries while Love is sidelined. Love logged nine carries for 58 yards and a touchdown before exiting.
