Joe Labas News: High passing volume not enough

Labas was 19-for-30 passing for 242 yards and one interception during Saturday's 21-3 loss against Toledo. He also had seven rushes for -30 yards.

Labas recorded a season-high 30 passing attempts in the eventual loss to the Rockets, but he was unable to find the end zone even with 242 passing yards. The starting quarterback will now close out his 2025 regular season with 126 of 183 passes completed for 1,676 yards, 12 touchdowns and six interceptions. He'll now focus on getting the Chippewas a bowl-game win before his college eligibility runs out after this year.
