Josh Johnson News: Starting as expected

Johnson is the starting quarterback for Week 1 against Bucknell on Saturday, Brent Briggeman of The Colorado Springs Gazette reports.

As expected after taking reps with the starters during warmups, Johnson gets the nod under center over Liam Szarka. Johnson appeared in five games for Air Force in 2024, completing only 42.9 percent of his throws for 126 yards and a 1:3 TD:INT.
