Kirk Francis News: Loses starting role

Francis is no longer the starting quarterback for Tulsa, head coach Tre Lamb told Larry Lewis of Inside Tulsa Sports.

Francis had a woeful showing in Week 6, completing only 20 of 34 passes for 175 yards, one touchdown and three picks in a 45-7 loss to Memphis. Francis owns a 3:4 TD:INT in three appearances this season, and the change means Baylor Hayes has been promoted to the starting role under center.
