Landon Sides Injury: Will miss Week 1

Sides (undisclosed) won't play in North Texas' opener against Lamar, per Brett Vito of the Denton Record-Chronicle.

The wideout was reportedly working his way back from an injury late in fall camp, one that appears to have bled into the regular season. Sides, who caught 24 passes for 280 yards and one touchdown last season with the Mean Green, was expected to be a significant part of this passing attack. However, his next chance to play will come in Week 2 on the road against Western Michigan.
