Avant plans to enter the transfer portal, Chris Hummer of 247Sports.com reports.

Avant will search for his third team for his third collegiate season after playing for Colorado State this past year and Tulsa the previous campaign. The sophomore running back logged 90 rushes for 417 yards and five touchdowns in the 2025 season.
